The best cross country skiers in the nation will gather on the campus of the Marshall School to compete in head to head sprint racing over a challenging 1.4 kilometer lighted course. Due to the unique design of the sprint course almost the entire race is visible from the tiered spectator seating area.
Freestyle 100 meter sprints in head to head competition. Spacious warm-up area, flat 100 meter course, the challenge: to set the high school 100 meter sprint state record!!
4.2 kilometers (3 laps of the sprint course). Mass start.
A $10 entry fee is your ticket to a great ski hat, exciting racing, and a banquet with some of the best skiers in the nation.
All proceeds after expenses will go directly to the Northland Chapter of the American Red Cross. The Red Cross provides emergency care and services to victims of disasters and fires. Last year they provided food, shelter and care to over 100 families whose houses had burned down. The Red Cross is the center for education on CPR and First Aid. The Red Cross is a strong link between soldiers stationed abroad and their families here at home. When disaster strikes the Red Cross is there to help!
