  6. Meet your Coach!: Louise Levy

"Hi! My name is Louise Levy. I have been skiing since 1976, when my parents moved me and my little brother from the deep South to northern Minnesota. Those were the days of Olympian Bill Koch and before the skate technique. I raced from grade school through graduate school, on teams or as a citizen racer. Now I enter races to help new skiers finish with a smile. The way I see it, just because you're slow, doesn't mean your technique is bad, and just because you're fast, doesn't mean your technique is efficient. You can be super slow with excellent technique or pretty darn fast even with inefficient movements. Lessons can be for everyone My job as a XC ski instructor is to help you become a more beautiful and efficient skier. The rest is up to you!"
