Nordic Spirit Classic Ski Race
Saturday, March 2 | Upper Spirit Mountain Nordic Chalet
Best line grooming, fantastic trails, and helpful volunteers make this classic race excellent.
Choose between a 24 km CLASSIC or 12 km CLASSIC race. This year we will still have a Wooden Ski 10k Race and Tour! All racers receive a Nordic Spirit race hat. Also a Cookie Classic FREE race for kids ages 2-13!
Registration Details
Registration Fees:

$50 for DXC Members

$60 for non-DXC Members (please consider joining DXC)

$30 for high school and college skiers

$25 for Wooden Ski 10k Race and Tour
Day of race registration available, no late fee.
Payments accepted: cash, check and credit card.
*All registration fees are non-refundable; however, if the race is cancelled, your entry will be automatically transferred to the 2024 race, free of charge!
Race Schedule
Registration & Packet Pickup
7:30-9:45 a.m. @ the Upper Spirit Mountain Nordic Chalet.
There is limited parking at the Nordic chalet. No parking on Skyline Drive. Parking available at Spirit Mountain Adventure Center located just a block away.
Race & Tour Start Times
10 a.m. for both the 12km and 24km races
10:30 a.m. Woodski 10km
12 p.m. Cookie Classic (Free for ages 2 to 13)
**All races start and finish near the Nordic chalet.
Awards
Award winners will receive awards at the finish line.
Bonfire & Hot Dog Roast
12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Directions
The Nordic Spirit Ski Race takes place in Duluth, MN on the Spirit Mountain Nordic Ski Trail systems, just five minutes off of Interstate 35.
Take Exit 249 from I-35 and head south on Skyline Parkway.
Continue on Skyline Parkway for approximately 1.2 miles.
Volunteer
Not interested in skiing the race, but still want to be a part of the Nordic Spirit event? Have we got the job for you – VOLUNTEER! As you know, a race of this size wouldn’t be possible without the many volunteers who graciously donate their time and energy. We have many INDOOR and OUTDOOR volunteer opportunities as well as PRE-RACE and POST-RACE jobs.
