Programs for Kids
Marshall Holiday Nordic Ski Camp
Dates
December 27th, 28th, 29th, 2023 (Wednesday-Friday)

Spirit Mountain Nordic Center on Grand Avenue
Fee
The camp fee is just $100 per child for three full afternoons of learning and fun.
Details
Instruction is provided by the members of Marshall Nordic Ski Team and Alumni. The camp is supervised by the Marshall Nordic Ski Team Coaching Staff. Rental equipment, sledding, bonfires with marshmallows, crafts, hot chocolate and snacks are all included in the fun!

Snowflake KidSki

Details
Continuing a long-established model, KidSki is intended to get kids on skis, and to develop the basic skills which make nordic skiing fun. Our Coaches are experienced high school skiers, many of whom began in KidSki, who will be following the time-tested KidSki lesson plan.
The goal is to make lessons safe, fun, and to give each participant a sense of improvement and accomplishment each week. Beginning skiers will learn the Classic (stride) ski technique. Older kids, with previous Classic Ski experience, may request Beginning Skate technique lessons.
Snowflake KidSki is open to ages 4-16. Kids will be placed in groups of 7-9, based upon age and experience. Each group will have 2-3 coaches. We will also offer Adult Classic and Skate classes for parents who would like to learn basic skills while their child is at KidSki.

Nordic North Stars
Registration opens November 6th
Multiple ages, dates, and times. All sessions are held at Snowflake Nordic Ski Center and passes are required.

Nordic Spirit Youth Ski League - NYSL

Grades K-8
Times
Grades K-3 1:30 - 2:30 PM
Grades 4-8 1:00 - 2:15 PM
Cost
$30 for the first child, $20 for each additional child in the family. Equipment rental is available for a deposit of $50
