Lester River Trail

Lester River Trail: Take a photo with intersection D after completing the bonus loop.

Route Description: Lester is a Duluth staple for both skate and classical technique. With 4 kilometers of lighted trail, it is a local favorite both by day and night. Start at the Lester-Amity Chalet, and follow the ski trail up and to the right, following the trail from O, to A, to B, to C. After taking the right hand turn to head from C to D, take the next right hand turn to complete the extra loop heading toward the Lester River.
Photo Spot: At the end of the D loop, snap a photo with the D intersection map.
Continue along the main loop from D to G to I. At I, continue straight rather than turning left to complete the perimeter loop, then continue toward J. At J, stick left to avoid the advanced downhill black loop, and continue toward K, L, and M, until ultimately returning to the right hand turn back down to the chalet. Enjoy a hot cocoa in the chalet after your ski!
